If I had somehow known you 25 years ago and followed your advice, I feel like I might have had a shot at a career in games development. Valuable advice for anyone, as always.
Peter, that puts a big smile on my face. Thank you!
My kid is 10. Because I'm a game developer, games are a thing in our home: we talk about them, we play them, there are posters on the walls, all that good stuff. And lately, the little one has taken to "coming up with video game ideas" and telling me all about them. So the other day, I took note as he was sharing an idea, I put it through Claude Design, on the spot, zero thinking involved, answered a few more questions and I kid you not: we made an html video game in like 20 minutes. Not exactly Breath of the Wild, but we did it, and we played it, and it was good fun. Now we're talking about uploading our creations to Itch.io.
Why am I tell you this? Because maybe 25 years ago it wouldn't have been right, but perhaps now the stars are aligned ;)
